STEM/Computer Lab

 

     I am working on my 3rd year in the STEM Lab at Vonore Elementary School. I am not new to VES, as I substituted for 8 years, transitioned to Pre-Kindergarten in July of 2016. I worked in the Pre-K classroom for 5 years before I took the position in the STEM Lab. It's always an adventure and I still have a lot to learn about STEM, but enjoy learning with "my kiddos"!

 

Outside of school

     I have been married to my husband, Stephen for almost 28 years. We have 2 children and added a son-in-law last year to our family.  Scarlett is 23 and recently received her Bachelors Degree in Radiology from ETSU and married Zachary Sitlzer on October 15, 2022. Colby is 20 and graduated from CSCC with his Mechatronics Certification and Associates Degree. He is working at Amazon as a Maintenance Tech 2 and recently started working on getting his Bachelors Degree in Electricial and Computer Engineering.

     My favorite activities are camping, lake time, reading and spending time with my family. We also enjoy taking family trips when we can.
