About Me

Hi,

 

This is my 26th year of teaching!  I have taught kindergarten, first, third, and intervention in math and reading for grades 3-5.  I have also been in a media specialist.  I'm so excited to be part of the VES family and to get to know all my students and families.

 

I was born and raised in Michigan about 40 minutes north of Detroit.  I came to Tennessee because of my love for the outdoors.  I love to hike, bike, and paddle board.  I don't sit still for too long just like my students.

 

I have a wonderful husband and two adult sons that I adore.  It was only with their encouragement that I relocated to live my dream.  I love it here and can't wait to get to know my new community!
