About me

My name is Kristy Plemons, and I am excited to begin a new chapter as a first-year teacher at Vonore Elementary School. Before stepping into the classroom, I proudly served as the school's secretary/bookkeeper for the past 11 years. During that time, I had the privilege of getting to know so many wonderful students, families, and staff members, and I am grateful to continue serving the VES community in a new role.

My educational background includes an Early Childhood Care Certification from Southern Technical College, an Associate of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University.

Outside of school, I am blessed to be married and have two beautiful daughters and two amazing grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, riding horses, and competing in barrel races.

I am incredibly excited for this school year and thankful for the opportunity to continue serving the students, families, and community of Vonore Elementary School. I look forward to creating a positive, engaging learning environment where every student can grow and succeed.
