First Grade Teacher 

 

BS in Early Childhood Education - Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, AL

 

MS in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in reading - University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN

 

This is my sixth year in Monroe County, but it is my 30ty year teaching overall.  I have taught in Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee.  I have taught every grade level except fifth, even sixth!  

 

I live in Maryville with my husband, James, and our three pups - Ginger, a miniature Golden Doodle; Wilbur, a red Doberman named because he was the runt; and Babe, a fawn Doberman named because it goes with Wilbur! We enjoy spending time in our backyard tending to our garden and feeding the birds.
