Kindergarten Teacher 

 

BS in Early Childhood Education - Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, AL

 

MS in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in reading - University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN

 

This is my sixth year in Monroe County, but it is my 29th year teaching overall.  I have taught in Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee.  I have taught every grade level except fifth, but Kindergarten is my heart! 

 

I live in Maryville with my husband, James, and our two pups - Rocco, the Corgi/Chihuahua and Clifford, the big red Doberman!  We enjoy spending time in our backyard tending to our garden and feeding the birds.
