Greetings! I am excited to serve the community of Vonore as Principal at VES! My heart is and always will be working with students, parents and teachers. Building relationships with our community is at the foundation of what we believe here at VES. It truly takes a village to raise a child and we are honored to support you & your student(s) during their elementary years.

 

ELA is the subject that I have been immersed in the full length of my career. I begin teaching 8th grade with Sevier County Schools in 2000. I completed my tenure there after nine years before moving to Monroe County Schools in the fall of 2009. 

 

During my 26 years in public education I have served as a Classroom Teacher, Instructional Coach, RTI Coordinator, Parent Involvement Coordinator, Data & Accountability Coordinator, District Complaint Manager, Assistant Principal, TNCompass & Teacher Accountability Coordinator and currently as Principal.

 

When not working, my family and I love to attend sporting events cheering on Maryville Rebels or the Tennessee Volunteers!
