Hello! My name is Kristen Franklin. I’m beginning my seventh year of teaching Kindergarten. I’ve been a Monroe County citizen all my life, and I feel honored to be a teacher to our county’s wonderful students. This is my sixth year teaching at Vonore Elementary. I love these students, our school, and my job! I’m thankful to be able to celebrate learning alongside our children each day!

I live in Madisonville with my husband, Justin. We’ve been married for almost six years, and we have two children - one son, Silas, who will be three this October and one daughter, Ainsley, who was born in May of 2023. In our spare time, we enjoy traveling, spending time with our family, and going to the mountains. 

I can't wait to be your child's teacher! I look forward to all of the fun and learning we will have together this year.
